During an early meeting with the team at start-up American auto manufacturer Rivian Automotive (formerly known as Avera Motors), CEO RJ Scaringe requested something unusual – “Keep us secret”. Not a common wish when working with a PR firm, but keeping designs secret in the auto industry isn’t so odd.
As the company emerges from behind a veil of secrecy, CKC guides media relations activities and supports brand development strategies for Florida’s first automaker. Keeping a secret has been the easiest thing CKC has done for Rivian. More recently, CKC worked with the company as Korean automaker Hyundai filed suit claiming trademark infringement against the car brand Azera. CKC encouraged and facilitated full media disclosure during the litigation and actively engaging in the rebranding process.
CKC is created with keeping the granola flowing at the green automaker.
